Since Oracle acquired Sun Microsystems in 2009, APTEC has been working with Sun clients to transition their Sun IAM infrastructures to the Oracle IAM 11g platform. APTEC has experience upgrading SunOne LDAP customers to Oracle Directory Services Enterprise Edition, and is beginning to work with multiple customers on completing migration plans and migration strategies for OpenSSO/Sun Access Manager migrations to Oracle Access Manager and Oracle Identity Federation, and Sun Identity Management migrations to Oracle Identity Manager.
APTEC is working closely with Oracle’s Product Development teams to leverage migration tools and scripts to streamline the migration process; enabling access management policies to carry seamlessly over into Oracle Access Manager, and configure Sun Identity Management connectors into Oracle Identity Manager using a shared connector framework.
